Assembly object Unterägeri
During the reconstruction of a detached house, a barely used atrium was fitted with a glass roof. The atrium is 3.82 x 3.28 m in size. It had to be divided into 2 elements.
The glass is a walkable laminated safety glass with printed anti-slip squares (anti-slip class R10). The colour of the edge printing is RAL 7045 Telegrau 1. The butt joint was sealed and a chrome steel sheet was attached to the outer edges.
The exterior space can now be used throughout again and the atrium itself can now be used as a buffer space.
Assembly of glass skylights Muzeum Susch, Graubünden
In 2018, a museum for contemporary art will open in Susch in the Lower Engadine. The project is financed by the richest Polish woman - Grazyna Kulczyk. The project involves the conversion of an old brewery into an art museum with an artists' house, library, bistro and hall.
Glas Trösch has been commissioned to design and produce five very special glass skylights. These were assembled by our own assembly team on May 17, 2018. The glazing has a novel construction with integrated drainage channels and will appear flush with the sheet metal roof in the final construction. A lot of daylight enters the interior through the inner and completely sloping soffits!
